Angling - Llangadog Angling Limited - has
approximately two miles of fishing on the River Towy, one stretch
is accessed off the main river bridge into Llangadog at Square
and Compass, the other is accessed from Devannah Farm or from
Manordeilo. All these can be viewed from maps which are distributed
when new members join the association. For further information

The Mobi Project - Community Projects, Activities
and Trips - The Mobi Project provides a safe warm meeting place
for young people between 11-25 and offers locally-based youth
information, advice and support, with workshops on youth related
issues. Mobi is in the village on Monday evenings (school term
only), from 5pm to 7pm, at the Village Hall Car Park. For more

Transition Town Llandeilo (TL2)
This is the
first transition town in Wales. TL2 are part of a network of
communities across the UK and Ireland responding locally to the
challenges presented by Climate Change and Peak Oil. TL2 are
looking at how we can reduce our carbon footprint and increase
our resilience to the shocks that Peak Oil will bring. We started
the process of becoming a Transition Town in Spring 2007, and
we now have active subgroups focusing on: Allotments; Food and
Farming; Renewable Energy; Permaculture; Apples - 'Afallon Teilo';
'Heart and Soul' - the psychology of Energy Descent; Education
. We also have active links to a wider movement in Wales and
the UK. Anyone interested in pursuing work in these areas would
