Carmarthenshire Short Mat Bowls Association

Carmarthenshire Short Mat Bowls Association presented a cheque of £650 to The Talking Books for the Blind recently, the money was raised at the association's Annual Charity Triples Competition held last April in the Bro Myrddin Bowls Stadium where 42 teams contested for the Charity Triples Trophy.

The Association has raised a total of £12,675 for various charities over the last 13 years, and this year's event will be held on 22 April at the Bro Myrddin Bowls Stadium, the chosen charity for 2007 is The Cardiac Unit Glangwili Hospital.
