Established in 1973 by local volunteers and supporters. Llangadog Community Hall Centre is in Llangadog Village in the Upper Towy Valley. It is at the heart of the village and hosts a wide range of events and local groups.
We are a registered charity and exist to promote the well-being of the inhabitants of Llangadog and district and to provide facilities for cultural, recreational and leisure time activities.
We have a large Main Hall, with a stage, full surround system and stage lighting ideal for concerts, weddings, birthday parties and other large groups or events. There is also an electric projector screen.
The YMCA is the most popular room and is within the Main Hall. It can hold up to 25 people and is used for the majority of the regular groups held within the Centre. There is an electric projector screen also for use.
There is a well equipped fitted kitchen, disabled toilet with baby changing facilities within the Main Hall. Tables and chairs also available for use.
Our Green Room has recently been refurbished and is an ideal room to hold meetings, training events or smaller groups. This main room holds up to 15 people and has a smaller meeting room off to the side and has both toilet and kitchen facilities.
There is ample car parking space and a cycle shelter
to the rear of the Centre.
Hire charges are all inclusive of use of kitchen and use of chairs and tables. Please be aware that if there are two bookings in the hall, it maybe that the kitchen may also be used by another user, unless otherwise stated in your booking.
Our very successful and well attended groups include WI, film club, gardening club, beekeepers, whist drives and brownies. We also have weekly sporting events including short mat bowling, table tennis, and badminton. We also have a full size snooker table.
